Chuck Starr

Chuck Starr, owner of Starr's Cars, started his career in the auto business at Jackshaw Chevy in 1985 as a new car salesman. In a short period of time he earned the nickname "The Starr". Working in the new car industry for 1 1/2 years, he set many records and sales goals with his honest, no-bull style of selling. He then moved into used car sales and management, where he developed a passion for being #1. In 1990 he moved to a very small, independent store on Vine Street in Eastlake called Best Buy Auto Sales. He could not pass up the challenge of turning that small store into a large sales, good reputation store that the Vine Street auto mile had and still has trouble doing today. Then, in April, 1997, he came to the realization that as long as he worked for another car dealer, he would never be able to fulfill his true potential or practice his no-bull style of selling cars by treating people like he would want to be treated if he were buying a car. He opened Starr's Cars in Perry, Ohio, another area where everyone said he couldn't sell cars. He took the challenge with the support of his great staff and he now owns the largest volume, independent used car lot in Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula Counties. Doing it the old fashioned way: Earning people's business by treating them the way he would want to be treated, with straight talk and open, honest values and policies.

In his spare time you will find Chuck on his Harley Davidson or riding ATVs with his children.

Jason Saunders

Jason is a young, energetic individual with a passion for selling used automobiles. He has been employed by Starr's Cars since we opened in April, 1998. Jason has worked his way up to become a top notch salesperson. Due to his professionalism and knowledge of automobiles, Jason has acquired a lot of repeat and referral customers. However, he is always eager to add a new customer to his list of satisfied clients. He does what it takes to make his customers happy so they will come back to see him again and again.

In his spare time Jason enjoys dirt bike riding, golf and spending time with his family.

Ray Sines

Ray has been in the automobile business for 14 years. He is a seasoned sales professional and goes out of his way to maintain his customer’s complete satisfaction. Ray has a loyal customer following due to his ability to recognize what his customers want and achieve their goals. If you or anyone you know is in the market for a pre-owned vehicle please don't hesitate to call as he is very eager to assist in any way he can. In his spare time Ray enjoys expanding his computer knowledge and hangin’ with his wife and two daughters.

Dave Davis

Dave is the newest member of our sales staff. He is smart, friendly and automobile saavy. During his time at Starrs Cars, Dave has greatly expanded his customer base with his friendly, honest and no-pressure sales style. Very knowledgeable in finance, Dave is able to work with credit challenged customers to find financing that meets their needs. In his spare time Dave likes to bowl with his wife, play softball with his step-daughter and keep up running with his one year old.

Paul Volter

Paul is our Shop Manager and is also a technician. He is ASE certified and continues to take classes to expand his knowledge of automobiles. Paul is well organized and keeps our service department running smoothly. If you need an appointment he is the man to call. His thorough knowledge of automobiles, whether domestic or foreign, allows him to properly diagnose and repair a vehicle in a short amount of time.

In his spare time Paul and his wife spend time playing with their “children”, 2 pugs named Bailey & Morgan.

Zdenko Buljan

Zdenko is one of our Service Technician's. He has been employed with Starrs Cars since 2002 and has grown to be a top mechanic. He specializes in diagnostics and loves the challenge of figuring out a problem.

Zdenko is the proud father of his son Eddie. Zdenko and his wife were born in Bosnia, spent some time in Germany then moved to the United States. In his spare time Zdenko loves to fish and spend time with his family.

Beth

Beth works in the Title Department and assists the Controller. If you have any questions about your title, Beth is the one to call. Her duties also include A/P and auto withdrawl for car payments.

In her spare time you will find Beth hanging out with her family and friends.

Crystal

Crystal works in our Accounts Receivable Department. She handles payments and any customer service needs.

In her spare time Crystal enjoys spending time with her family.

Rudy

Rudy works as our Porter/Detailer. You will find him in our shop making the cars shine inside and out or on the lot keeping it neat and looking good. Rudy has worked as a detailer for several years and knows how to really clean an automobile.

Rudy enjoys motorcycles and having fun with friends.

Anthony

Anthony is the newest member of our detailing team. He is young, energetic and has the ability to super clean cars. Anthony loves to take a dirty car and make it look showroom clean.

In his spare time Anthony likes to play football and hang out with his family and friends.
